IRS Look at Progressive Groups  Complicates Controversy

The Internal Revenue Service used  evidence of advocacy on Israel to flag groups’ tax-exempt applications for extra attention,
The BOLO also has terms related to Israel, looking for applications that “deal with disputed territories in the Middle East” and “may be inflammatory.”...
Z Street, which describes itself as a Zionist education organization, sued the IRS in federal court over its treatment, which it called discriminatory.
“It’s great that they’re finally acknowledging what we’ve known all along,” co-founder Lori Lowenthal Marcus said in a telephone interview.

Pope gets anti anti semite award.

In a meeting with Jewish leaders, Pope Francis condemned Jew-hatred, saying it had no place in Christianity.
“Because of our commons roots, a true Christian cannot be anti-Semitic."
This was Pope Francis' first meeting with Jewish leaders since becoming leader of the Catholic Church earlier this year. He met with members of the Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations, the Vatican's "historical Jewish partner" in dialogue.
The Pope added that the Catholic Church
“firmly condemns hatred, persecution and all manifestations of anti-Semitism."
A Jewish leader present at the meeting, David Rosen, Director of International Interreligious Affairs at AJC, said
"Pope Francis is a very good friend of the Jewish People and we rejoice in the fact that he will continue to advance the path of his predecessors in deepening the Catholic-Jewish relationship even further.”

lies of the BDS Boycott divest sanction lobby

  • Israel Furious at UN Report Charging Torture of Palestinian Children - Phoebe Greenwood
The UN Committee on the Rights of Children stated in its periodic review of Israel's record, released on Thursday: "The Committee expresses its deepest concern about the reported practice of torture and ill-treatment of Palestinian children arrested, prosecuted and detained by the military and the police."
Israel countered that the findings are "not based on any direct investigation on the ground, only on documents gathered from secondary sources." Yigal Palmor, spokesman for the Israeli Foreign Ministry, described the report's allegations that Israel did not comply with requests for information as a "bold, scandalous lie." "The [committee] were fully informed that instructions have indeed been issued and that the use of children as human shields is totally forbidden. Yet the authors pretend there never was any such communication by Israel," Palmor said. (Telegraph-UK)

some moderate. He already has been involved in Jew killing

Newly-elected Iranian president Hassan Rouhani was involved in the slaughter of 85 Argentinean Jews in 1994, the Washington Free Beacon reported on Wednesday.
The bombing of the AMIA Jewish community center remains officially unsolved, but Argentinean officials have long charged that Iran was the culprit.
In 2006, an official indictment was issued against several Iranian officials. In the text, an Iranian defector testified that Rouhani was present during a meeting of Iranian officials during which the decision was made to commit the attack.

Why Clinton's push for 2 state solution is misguided

Clinton Weighs In
Former president says Israelis have no alternative to two-state solution. What is wrong with this? a. he had 8 years, tried hard and saw it was not possible. Monday morning quaterbacking if ever there was one. THERE IS NO ONE TO MAKE PEACE WITH! b. What Clinton based it on is a myth! From Haaertz Birth rate has gone up in Israel in recent years: every Jewish mother now has an average of three children − more than her sisters in Iran, Syria or Egypt.

What about our brothers the Palestinians? In contrast to the Arab states, statistics about their fertility rate are the object of constant debate. The figures issued by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics are frequently inflated for political and economic reasons. The Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies at Bar-Ilan University found a disparity of 40 percent − representing one million Palestinians − between the fertility rate according to the Palestinian CBS and actual ...births as recorded by the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Both Palestinian agencies agree on one thing: Palestinians are giving birth to far fewer children. Until the 1990s, a Palestinian woman gave birth to an average of six to eight children. That rate has now decreased to three to five children, and if we can trust the Palestinian Health Ministry’s registration of births, the rate is decreasing and has already reached the same level as that of the Jewish population, which is on the upswing.

That is good reason for optimism, even beyond the Jews’ desire to preserve a Jewish majority between the Jordan and the Mediterranean. It’s reason for optimism because the number one reason for the unprecedented fall in the fertility rate in the Arab world is optimism
