I know one place where stand your ground and self defense are critical. Israel's battle to survive against Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Muslim brotherhood, Islamic jihad, etc. They have declared open warfare against Jews everywhere. It is 200-500 million to 14 million. They consider every baby in Israel fair game to try and kill.
